So according to TMOE, the best SAE-30 grade oil available in a retail store is Mystik-brand oil. Further research showed it is considered a diesel oil. I want to use this oil in my riding lawn mower. Would it be ok to use for this? I'm not too sure, but I would assume diesel oil and gasoline oil is the same, although I think diesel has more detergents.
So does anyone know if you can use diesel oil for a gas-powered riding lawn mower?
