There are tons of oil analysis companies out there, but some of them are only focused on commercial/industrial applications and corporate accounts. Those do the average vehicle owner no good. You need to have options that cater to individuals as well. So, here is a list of companies that will do analyses for both companies AND individuals as verified either by their website or by phonecall.
Some companies offer online sample kit ordering. In some cases, the price for the kit includes the analysis, in other cases, the analysis will cost extra. Some companies offer free kits but then charge for the analysis. Just keep an eye on what you're paying for and what you're not.
Many companies are now offering online viewing of reports and some offer the report information as a download in multiple formats. Pricing will generally range from $10 to $30 depending upon the company and the test information you want.
If you intend on using the oil analysis information for performing extended oil drains, make sure you're getting TBN testing.
